The Domaine Allemand is the oldest of the Haut-Alpes domains. It was founded in 1954 by Louis Allemand after he did his military service in Champagne and thus discovered his vocation. From the start, the estate has focused on the quality of its production (small volumes, manual harvesting, plot selection, etc.). In the 90's, Marc Allemand started to safeguard the mollard grape variety, a local variety which was disappearing at that time. Today, the 11 hectares cultivated by the estate are mainly located below the small village of Théüs, a historical terroir of the department, particularly favourable to the cultivation of the vine. Reds, rosés, whites, but also traditional methods, wine confit or liqueurs will offer you a wide range of gourmet combinations.
Its name may seem strange to you, but in our region "mollard" means "little mountain" or "small mountain"!
This red grape variety with spicy notes is emblematic of the Hautes-Alpes. We produce it in different vintages.

Generally speaking, we hardly treat our vines and few of the phytosanitary products we use are essentially labelled organic.

The estate's wines regularly win awards at competitions such as the Concours Général Agricole de Paris or the Concours National des Vinalies, and are selected each year by the Guide Hachette.
