Durance Festival 2023

Description

The spirit of this event is to bring together people who love the river and paddling sports (kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle, rafting)
Sport, sharing, concerts and good humour!

Full programme:

Friday 12 July:

- 10h: Free training Guil Gorge Chrono (unsecured)

- 10am: Start of Clinics (Girls' Special, Packraft, Safety)

- 17h: Opening of registration/registration confirmation (Guil Chrono, Sup Challenge, Packraft Challenge, Grande Descente)

- 18h: Welcome drink

- 9pm Cinema Plein Air

Saturday 13 July:

- 8am: Confirmation of entries/ On-site entries

- 11am: Sup Masters Long Race
A race starting in line from St Clément up to and including the Rabioux (finish on the right bank downstream of the rabioux).

- 12h: Gorge Guil Chrono
Briefing at the start at midday, 1st start 13.00

- 14h: Start Bas Guil Rally
A descent of the Bas Guil (Cl.2/3) open to all boats; the Rallye du Bas Guil is a group descent of the Bas Guil from the Simoust bridge to the base of St Clément (with the option of continuing to the Rabioux campsite - unsupervised). Ideal for intermediate paddlers!

- 5pm: Official Buvette opening
With the Batucada d'Embrun.

- 7pm: Catering opening

- 8pm: Guil Gorge Chrono, Sup Masters and Canoe Rally prize-giving

- 8.30pm: Concerts/End around midnight.

Sunday 14 July

- 10am Shuttle bus departure from the campsite for the start of the Grande Descente at St Clément.

- 12h Start of the Grande Descente (St Clément Le Rabioux Embrun)

- 13h Rabioux Freestyle Showdown
A Free Session of Freestyle and big trick contest on the Rabioux wave. kayak, Raft, Canoe, Sup.

- 14h Grillades Party on the banks of the Rabioux.
