Description

Situated in the exceptional Boscodon forest, at an altitude of 1150 m, Boscodon Abbey is a remarkable 12th-century Romanesque monument, listed as a Historic Monument.

Restored 40 years ago by the Association des amis de l'abbaye de Boscodon, the abbey is a living place. Run by religious and lay people, its vocation is to pass on a heritage, cultural and religious heritage through activities for all (guided and self-guided tours, shows, conferences, etc.).
At the end of your visit, discover the bookshop: a vast selection of books (history, architecture, literature, psychology, religion, children's books), products with the Boscodon label and gourmet monastic products.

Free tour of the cloister and its gardens, the chapter house and the museum area from the start of the winter holidays to the end of the All Saints' Day holidays (fee payable).

Free tour of the abbey church and the abbot's chapel all year round and every day (free).

Guided tours are available every day in July and August and all year round for groups (booking required).
